Load Up and Kill

Load Up and Kill

Load Up and Kill is a killing simulation game in which your only goal is to kill a prisoner with whatever weapon you desire. You will be shown some weapons, and after choosing one, you have to load it up (if it needs ammo). Each weapon is filled differently, so you have to find out what you need to do to load them (like first releasing the magazine on a handgun, or pressing the on switch on a chainsaw). Once you're done with loading your weapon, you're taken to the prisoner's cell to do the job. You can keep doing this until you've had your fill, so try out all the different weapons available and see how each of them works! Platform Web browser (desktop and mobile)Controls Click on a weapon you'd like to use, then click on the part of the weapon you need to interact with, or follow the prompts for some weapons.

Chess Free

Chess Free is an online puzzle chess game where you can compete against players worldwide in exciting one-on-one matches. Challenge yourself by outsmarting opponents of various skill levels to strengthen yours. If you prefer to play solo, level up your abilities against the computer, choosing from a range of difficulty settings—from beginner to World Champion. Whether you're just learning the game or aiming for grandmaster status, interactive hints help refine your moves to get you there. How to Play Chess FreeChess Free follows the classic rules of chess. The objective is to checkmate your opponent's king, meaning it is in a position to be captured and cannot escape.

You can play against the computer, compete online with real players, or share the same screen with a friend. With 18 difficulty levels ranging from Beginner to World Champion, you can play based on your level.

Depending on your level, you can choose a "handicap," so you have a bit of an advantage. You can also enable hints and interactive tips to help guide you throughout.

The rules are basic—players take turns moving their pieces. Pawns move forward but capture diagonally, knights move in an L-shape, and other pieces have unique movement patterns. Strategy is key in chess. Protect your pieces, control the center of the board, and anticipate your opponent's moves. The game ends when one player's king is checkmated, resulting in a win or if a draw occurs under certain conditions.

In chess, a draw is a result where neither player wins, and the game ends in a tie. This can happen for several reasons, such as stalemate (where a player has no legal moves but is not in check), repetition of the same position three times, 50 moves without a capture or pawn move, insufficient material to checkmate, or mutual agreement between the players.

Made a mistake?

No problem—use the move cancel feature to undo and rethink your strategy. After each match, detailed analysis highlights errors and suggests better moves, while the option to replay specific moments helps reinforce learning.

You can save your rating and pick different time control modes like bullet, blitz, and rapid. Customize the board and pieces to your liking, review your move history, and even express yourself with playful cartoon emotions as you interact with your opponent.

Special Chess Moves to Know

Castling

Castling is a special chess move involving the king and a rook. It’s only allowed if neither the king nor the rook have moved previously, and there are no pieces between them. Additionally, the king cannot be in check, and it must not move through or land on any square that is under attack. This move helps protect the king and connect the rooks for better defense.

Taking the pass

Taking the pass, or en passant, is a special pawn capture in chess. If your opponent moves a pawn two squares forward and lands next to your pawn, you can capture it on your next move as if it had only moved one square. Your pawn will take its place, but this capture must be done immediately.

Frogger

Frogger

Frogger is a classic arcade game. Control the frog to navigate hazardous roads and rivers and reach the other side. Rinse and repeat. This newer version features updated graphics but remains essentially the same as the original Frogger. How to Play FroggerThe concept of Frogger is simple. Just get that frog from A to B. Yet it’s a challenge to execute. Move your frog using the arrow keys. Be careful. Avoid the moving vehicles. On the river, jump across the logs to get your frog to its “frog home”. There are five of these homes, so you have to repeat this four more times. Then you move to the next level. Each level adds even more difficulty. Expect crocodiles, snakes, faster-moving vehicles, and rapid-flowing rivers as you get further into the game. This poses a challenge to a mere frog with three lives.Game TipEverything in Frogger moves predictably. The vehicles are all moving in time. The logs have set speeds and orders that a savvy gamer can exploit. The same goes for those pesky snakes and crocodiles, too. Get a feel for the timings, hone your reflexes, and play frequently to master this game.About FroggerThe original Frogger needs little introduction. It was a hugely successful game when released in 1981.  Since that time, numerous remakes have been released to modernize the visuals and gameplay. However, you can’t beat the simple charm of the original Frogger. It’s a game that transcends boundaries. This version of Frogger maintains everything that makes the original game great while improving the visual fidelity for modern screens.More Arcade GamesYou love the originals. Arcade gaming is your thing. That’s why we have arcade games and classic games. There are various classic and modern titles there to please a retro gaming reminiscer. Some of those classic games include Atari Breakout and Pac Man.Controls

Friday Night Funkin'

Friday Night Funkin'

Friday Night Funkin’ is a casual music game that combines 80s nostalgic visuals with music battles. At its heart, it’s a rap duel simulator: you take the role of Boyfriend, a determined wannabe rapper, who faces off against opponents to prove he is worthy of dating Girlfriend, who’s there the whole time, cheering you on from the speakers. The pressure is on. To be a successful rapper, you will need to follow screen prompts, perfect your timing and pattern recognition, and most importantly, never let the beat mmm drop. Friday Night Funkin' ReviewedWe love dancing and music games in our family. Friday Night Funkin is a great free rhythm game where you press buttons in time with music tracks like the classic Dance Dance Revolution machines found in the 1990s arcade. The kids love it because it's silly and retro and I like the fact that it has a fan-made feel rather than the commercial dance games that cost a lot of money.Review by FamilyGamingDatabase. How to Play Friday Night Funkin’The main movement in Friday Night Funkin’ is to follow the colored arrows that scroll up and down the screen. Watch for when stationary markers overlap, and press the matching arrow key (or WASD keys) as soon as you see them overlap. Seems simple enough, but the first few rounds will have you questioning your rhythm. With every successful match, Boyfriend gets to sing. With every arrow you miss, Boyfriend’s health score drops, quickly hurting his chances of surviving, let alone winning. When you actually get to battle, this is your time to shine and belt out the tunes. If you’re not familiar with music battles, they're similar to any other type of duel competition, but with a twist: your weapons are your words and tunes. You take turns with the opponent, and sometimes you sing together in unison. You will hear classic songs like Dance Dance Revolution or Guitar Hero, and the objective is to sustain as many notes as possible, holding the arrows, sometimes for their entire duration. You can add variety, which is recommended, as it will boost your score if performed well. Get it wrong, and you will feel the heat on stage. Difficulty LevelsDepending on your skill level as a digital singer, you can choose from three levels of difficulty in Friday Night Funkin’: easy, normal, and hard. The more complex the level, the faster the arrows and the sequences become.Friday Night Funkin' Game ModesThe demo version of Friday Night Funkin’ includes:Story Mode. This mode takes you on a music battle journey with themed “weeks” of music, each featuring three or more songs against a pretty unique opponent. To win a week, you must clear all its tracks in a row.Free Play. This mode lets you practice individual songs so you can get some solo time in the studio to get ready for the more important battles.Friday Night Funkin' Story ModeIn Story Mode, you will follow Boyfriend on a weekly basis. He wants to win Girlfriend’s heart, but first must prove himself over time. Each week is designed with its own setting, opponent style, and themed soundtrack.Week 1: Daddy Dearest, Girlfriend’s rockstar father.Week 2: Skid & Pump, costumed kids from the Newgrounds series Spooky Month.Week 3: Pico, an old Newgrounds mascot and Boyfriend’s hinted ex.Week 4: Mommy Mearest, Girlfriend’s pop-star mother.Week 5: A Christmas mall showdown with both parents and a sinister monster.Week 6: Senpai, a cursed character in a retro dating sim setting.Week 7: Tankman, a military parody character with sharp humor.Weekend 1: Pico takes the spotlight against Darnell, complete with animated cutscenes.Health and ScoringYou have a health gauge at the bottom of the screen with a “tug-of-war” health bar. The more notes you get, the more the bar pushes toward your side. The more notes you lose, the more the bar swings toward your rival. Lose all your health, and the song ends with your head hung low. However, if you survive the track, hold it high, because that will win you the round. Now, if you know anything about performing in front of people, you know that a good performance is not about “surviving on stage” but about thriving. Each note in Friday Night Funkin’ has a score based on how accurately the note was held. Hit the note perfectly, and expect a “sick” score. Some songs are easier than others, so take advantage of those to rack up your scores. However, you will be rewarded generously for the more difficult songs.Strategies and TipsUse both hands to manage all the controls. Split the controls between left and right hands to hit simultaneous notes. Imagine dancing with only one foot. It’s not gonna win you a competition.Follow the patterns, and focus less on the arrows. When you need to mirror an opponent’s sequence, this will help.Follow the rhythm. Every song has a strong beat or melody. Let the rhythm guide your timing instead of relying only on visuals.Practice in Free Play. This is a lifesaver when it comes to more difficult songs. Practice them at a lower difficulty to master them. Friday Night Funkin’ MusicComposed by Kawai Sprite, Friday Night Funkin’s soundtrack will have you moving and grooving in your swivel chair from the get-go. Each week brings a distinct style of music from funky hip-hop to spooky organ synths, electro-pop club beats, and even militaristic chiptune rock. This is a crash course in funk. You may be familiar with a few of the tracks, like “M.I.L.F” and “Ugh” that became a viral sensation online. Ongoing DevelopmentFNF is an open-source game with an active development community and plenty of fan-made mods that expand the gameplay. In addition to mods made by avid fans, the developers recently added week 7 to the game and plan on turning it into a 'full-ass game' at some point in the future.Friday Night Funkin is not available on mobile devices yet, but it will be at some point in the future since the Kickstarter got funded! Eggy Car

Eggy Car is a simple yet challenging physics-based casual driving game where the goal is to drive as far as possible without letting the egg in your car fall off and crack! Controls are minimal, but finding the right balance between braking and accelerating is crucial, especially when navigating hills. Buckle up and get ready for the (hopefully not) bumpy ride. How to Play Eggy CarThe game starts with you driving a one-seater car with a wobbling egg as the sole passenger. The car is at the base of a small hill with your egg just on the brink of falling off at any minute. Avoid the instinct of slamming on the gas, as that is pretty much the fastest way to lose. Aim to tap the accelerator lightly, easing forward so the egg bounces but still stays in the car.If you’ve made it past the peak, now it’s time for the real fun, the dip. The key is to press the brake gently to keep the car steady. Too much braking will cause the egg to slide forward; too little, and you’ll bounce too hard. The secret is smooth and gentle movements, always looking ahead at how to keep your egg balanced. It’s definitely not always smooth sailing. The game is challenging from the get-go. The further you go, the harsher the road gets. Hills will get steeper, bumps get more uneven, and you will find your car rocks constantly, with your egg constantly on the brink of toppling over. The key is to find a rhythm: accelerate on the climb, ease off at the top, tap the brake on the way down. Earn RewardsSome of your roads will be lined with coins, but not all that glitters is gold. The gold coins will get your rewards, but they are placed in positions to tempt you into riskier maneuvers. Don’t fall into the trap. Only go after them if you feel safe, because chasing a coin on a steep incline is a sure-fire way to crack your egg. Upgrades There are ways to safeguard your egg. Look for Freeze power-ups, which lock your egg in place. You'll want to use these on steep hills, so you can put the pedal to the metal and conquer those hills like a true pro, keeping your egg safe and sound in your car the whole time. You can also keep your eyes peeled to find a Magnet. This upgrade will pull up coins automatically, so you can keep your eyes on the road and not steer off course chasing shiny coins. You can upgrade your car, but only if you can afford it with the coins earned. Cars offer more speed and stability, but each provides a distinctly different ride. Lighter cars tend to be faster but harder to balance, while heavier ones give more stability. Slower, wider cars are helpful for beginners, while faster cars suit advanced players.Gamescape styleThe game has a bright, cartoonish style with colorful backdrops and playful animations. The egg wobbles and bounces realistically, often with a funny face, while the cars range from compact hatchbacks to speedy racecars, each drawn in a lighthearted style. The sound design matches the cheerful tone: upbeat music loops in the background, and the coins give a satisfying chime.Game levelsEggy Car keeps things streamlined with a single endless mode. There are no levels, checkpoints, or a ticking timer. You always start from zero with a fresh egg, and progress comes from improving your best distance and unlocking new vehicles with collected coins, so practice really does make perfect.TipsPatience is key. Drive steadily instead of rushing.Slow down before steep hills or dips and let gravity do the work.Use quick reverse taps to stabilize or catch a slipping egg. When the inevitable egg-drop does occur, you’ll get a score based on how far you traveled before the tragic demise of the sentient egg.
