How to Play English Checkers Free In this game, you have several options: you can play with the computer, play online, play with friends, or play together. The mandatory rules are simple but important. You must jump over your opponents checker to capture it. A simple checker moves diagonally forward by one square and can only move forward. If theres an empty square behind your opponents checker, you can jump over it and land there. If you have multiple capturing opportunities, you can choose which one to take. You continue jumping until no more captures are possible. If your checker reaches the last row, it is crowned and becomes a king. A king can move diagonally both forward and backward. When jumping, the king can capture multiple opponents pieces and must continue capturing as long as possible. The player must jump whenever possible, and if there are several jumping options, they can pick any of them. You can choose your opponent and enable hints or apply a handicap, such as making captures mandatory. You can also select your side (black or white) before starting the game.
