You are in the center of a grid board, and your objective is to expand your territory by claiming more and more tiles. The catch is that you need to expand your territory without getting cut off by one of the many other players in the game. You can get cut off if your line of path is cut. Be careful because you can actually cut within your own path and lose the game by accidentally killing yourself. The only way to protect yourself is by remaining on your territory, but doing so won't get your expansion strategy very far. Territory is "claimed" when you convert blocks by creating a complete squarethe enclosed blocks will turn to your color once you close the gap. Mahjong Tower 2 is a puzzle game in which you play different variations of the solitaire version of mahjong. You are able to choose from different layouts, and the challenge and strategy for each are a little different, even if they all have the exact same rules.
Your main goal is to clear the board of all the tiles on screen. You have to do this by pairing each tile with another tile with the same symbol. There are some restrictions though: you can't pair a tile if one of the two tiles doesn't have a free edge (either the right or left), or if it's under another tile.
